Raymond Coston

Services for Raymond Eugene Coston, 80, of Little River, Texas, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, November 7 at Little River United Methodist Church in Little River, Texas. Burial with military honors will follow in Holland Cemetery.

Mr. Coston died Tuesday, November 5, at his home in Little River.

He was born March 11, 1933 in Ireland, Texas to Byron E. Coston and Alice Adcock Coston. He married Yvonne Jeanette Sladovnik on April 7, 1955 in Holland, Texas. He served in the United States Air Force and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. He was a former insurance agent for the American National Insurance Company, a sales representative for Johnson Brothers Ford, and was a truck driver for over 35 years upon his retirement.

Mr. Coston was preceded in death by his parents a sister, Frances Coston and his greatgrandson, Colin McCray.

He is survived by his wife, Yvonne of Little River a son, Steven Ray Coston of Brownwood three daughters, Ravonne McCray of Temple, Jeannie Sue Bishop of Austin, and Debra Kay Hunt of Hutto a brother, Roger Coston of El Paso 9 grandchildren and 15 greatgrandchildren.

Visitation will be 68 p.m. Wednesday, November 6 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Heart Association, the Little River United Methodist Church, or a charity of their choice.
