alignjustifyRaymond Joseph Chubb, 55 of Temple, passed away August 5, 2009 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be 10:00am Saturday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Services will be conducted by Temple Elks Lodge No. 138. Burial will follow in Moody Cemetery.

alignjustifyMr. Chubb was born June 8, 1954 to Norman Raymond and Dorothy Russell Chubb in Rome, New York. He served our country in the United States Navy. Raymond Chubb worked for the V.A. Hospital and Fort Hood as an Equipment Mechanic. On May 18, 1996, he married Peggy Willis in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He was a member of Temple Elks Lodge No. 138, American Legion Post 166 in Goose Creek, South Carolina, VFW Post 1820 in Temple, Omar Shrine Temple in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, and was a Past Master of Solomons Lodge No. 1 in Charleston, South Carolina.

alignjustifySurvivors include: wife Peggy Chubb of Temple, brother, Richard Chubb of Terre Haute, Indiana, and sister, Debbie Chubb of Terre Haute, Indiana.

alignjustifyIn lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Texas Elks Childrens Services, 1963 FM 1586, Gonzales, Texas, 78629.

alignjustifyVisitation will be 6-8pm Friday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
