Services for Rance Edward Nash, 76, of Troy, will be 2 p.m. Sunday, February 18, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Pastor Rick Reed officiating.

Mr. Nash passed away Saturday, February 10, at a local hospital.

Rance Edward Nash was born May 4, 1941 in Spearsville, Louisiana to Ralph Nash and Marie Jones Nash. After serving in the U.S. Army, he moved to Belton where he owned
and operated a successful mobile home transport company. Rance was an entrepreneur and member of the Union of Operating Engineers. Rance enjoyed taking road trips and
spending time with his family, and was always available to provide shelter and work to those less fortunate.

Mr. Nash was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Donna Lynn Gallimore.

He is survived by his daughter, Sonya Butler and husband Jim; a brother, Odell Nash and wife Sandy; a sister, Sally Knight and husband James, and two grandchildren, Devan Holt
and Aidan Holt; and cousins, Karen Trammel and husband Tommy, Travis Jones and wife Karen, and Billy Wayne Jones.

Visitation will be from noon - 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 18, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mr. Nash's headstone fund. Checks may be made payable to Sonya Butler in care of Harper-Talasek Funeral Home.

Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
