Rachael Martin

Mrs. Rachael Lynn Foster Martin, 56, of Temple, died at her residence Tuesday, June 3, 2008.

Private family services will be held with Rev. Ernest Thompson officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 P.M. at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.

Mrs. Martin was born to John Leonard Foster and Wanda Lee Bolin Foster in Temple on November 6, 1951. She was a lifelong resident of Temple. She married Roy Neal Martin, Sr. in Temple on March 25, 1969. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Roy Neal Martin, Sr. of Temple; mother, Wanda Lee Merryman of Temple; two sons, Roy Neal Martin, Jr. and Christopher Neal Martin, both of Temple; four daughters, Kathy Martin, Stephanie White, Melissa Mayo and Stacie Lynn Martin, all of Temple; one brother, Donald Wayne Foster of Troy; five sisters, Billie Clarice Pacatte, Susan Elaine Guthrie, Lydia Ann Whiteley, Mary Catherine Davidson and Aleshia Gayle Blackmon, all of Temple; fourteen grandchildren; and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her father.
