Quinton Sanders

Services for Quinton H. Sanders, 81, of Temple will be 10:00 am Tuesday, March 3rd at Harper Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Interment will follow at Bellwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, March 2nd at Harper-Talasek from 6-8pm
Quinton passed away on Saturday, February 28, at a local hospital.
Quinton was born on May 9, 1933 to Robert Gent and Alta Vesta Arnold in Salado, Texas. He graduated from Hood Village High School. After graduation he joined the Air Force as an air craft mechanic. Then he married his true love, Martha Owen in 1957. His proudest moment was becoming a father to his 3 sons. He retired in 1995, from the Santé Fe Railroad as a locomotive engineer. He was a member of the Temple Bible Church in Temple. His pride and joy was his family and the Dallas Cowboys.
He is preceded by his parents, Robert Gent and Vesta Sanders, Sister, Lois Barton 2 brothers, Robert Sanders and Arnold Sanders.
Survivors include wife, Martha; 3 sons, Brad with wife Kathie Sanders, Kurt and wife Nita Sanders and Doug with wife Detra Sanders. A brother, Kennith and wife Shirley Sanders. Along with 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
