Porfirio Castro

Porfirio Castro, 78, of Temple died Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at a local hospital. Visitation will be 68 p.m., Sunday, Dec 5 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple with Bro. Joe Williams officiating. Burial will follow in North Belton Cemetery in Belton.

Mr. Castro was born September 15, 1932 to the late Desiderio and Rosa Reyes Castro in Granger. He worked as a press operator for Wilsonart and was a member of the Full Gospel Holiness Church.
Mr. Castro is preceded in death by his parents his wife, Divina Castro October 1, 2009, brothers: Fortunato Castro, Lee Castro and Juan Castro sister: Frances Luna granddaughter, Tatyana Castro August, 2010.
He is survived by children: Rosalie Castro, Rosemary Castro, Susie Salazar and Porfirio Castro, Jr. all of Temple brothers: Martin Carillo of Chicago, IL, and Raymond Castro, Sr. of Austin sister: Carolina Harros of Del Valle, TX
4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
