Penelope Lewis

Penelope Penne Lewis, 62 of Belton, passed away May 12, 2009 in Hemphill, Texas. Graveside service will be 11:00am, Friday, may 15, 2009 at Killeen City Cemetery with Rev. Benny Frank Lewis officiating.

Penelope Lewis was born August 24, 1946 to Benny L. and Wilma L. Oslin in Athens, Texas. She worked as a homemaker, and also worked as a commercial Artist for 12 years. Ms. Lewis was a member of Hyde Park Baptist Church in Austin.

She is survived by her parents, Benny L. and Wilma Lewis of Temple, brothers, Benny Frank Lewis of Nacogdoches, Russell Laird Lewis of Omaha, Nebraska, and Lamar Lewis of Bandera, and her favorite aunt, Sandra Bright of Killeen.

Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of the arrangements.
