Peggy T. Fogleman, 90, of Salado died on May 24th at a Temple, Texas nursing home. She was born in Sulphur, Louisiana on September 5th, 1933, to Whitney and Vera Moore Trahan.
She married and raised her family in the community of Maplewood, Louisiana where she valued her career as mother and homemaker.
She moved from Louisiana to Houston, Texas in 1975, where she began her career in legal administration. She worked in the law department of a major oil corporation and then a large private law firm, from which she retired in 1992.
In 1999 she moved to Salado to be nearer her family and to further her interest in travel and to enjoy all that central Texas had to offer her adventurous spirit.
Survivors include her son Guy Fogleman and wife Jenny of Temple, her daughter Megan Fogleman of Austin, and her son Dow Fogleman and wife Susan of Temple. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Khunya Pan and wife Missy Kay of Austin, Shannon Fogleman of Temple, Elyssa Fogleman of Sacramento, Myles Fogleman of Sacramento, Nolan Fogleman of Austin, and Amanda Engle and husband CJ of Austin, and 3 great grandchildren (Amanda’s 3 children, Henry, Charles and Rowan).
A private celebration of life will be held for family at a later date, and her ashes will be scattered at a location she loved best.
Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
