Peggy Craik

Peggy Hayes Craik, 70, of Temple, passed away at her home in Temple on April 9, 2013. A memorial service will be Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 11:00 am at First Presbyterian Church of Temple.
Peggy was born on April 5, 1943 to Jack and Bettie Iba Hayes in Liberal, KS. She was an Associate Professor at UMHB from 19802006, a life time member of Texas Nurses Association, and attended Ft. Hayes State for Nursing. She also attended Texas Womens University and received Masters in Nursing Administration. She attended UMHB and received her Masters in Business Administration. Peggy also founded The Bettie Iba Hayes Endowed Scholarship which was established in memory of Peggy Craiks mother, Bettie Iba Hayes. The scholarship is awarded to students who are pursuing a degree in nursing or business. Memorials to this scholarship in memory of Peggy Craik can be sent to:

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her 2 daughters Jacquelyn Elliott and Raelynn Neas both of Temple, a son William Craik of Temple, 4 sisters Janet Hayes and Bettie Stoddard both of New Mexico, Linda Lower of Kansas, and Mary Lasley of Colorado, 7 grandchildren, and a host of dear friends.
