Services for Paula Dudik, 70 of Temple, Texas will be 8:30 am Friday, February 26, 2016 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
Paula Dudik peacefully passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at a local care facility.
Paula was born on March 27, 1945 as the only child to Henri Paul Giboin and Mae Albert Giboin in Portland, Maine. She graduated from McCauley Catholic High School and Westbrook College. She moved to D.C., while working for the Department of the Navy she met and married the love of her life Bill Dudik on September 14, 1968. While in the service they traveled all over Europe, Italy, Denmark, and East Berlin, than settled and made their home in Temple in 1981. Her proudest moments were having her three children. Paula retired from the Veterans Administration. She was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church. She was very selfless and enjoyed making others happy. She will always be remembered for her spirit and her smile.
Paula is preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Dudik; son, Michael Dudik; daughters, Melissa Crosswhite with husband Eddy and Kimberly Medina with husband Frank; eight grandchildren; Alexis, Brady, Cooper, Kendall, Paige, Steffin, Zach and Nich; one great-grandchild; and her two precious dachshunds, Cotton and Candy.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 with a Rosary recited at 7 on Thursday February 25th at the funeral home
