Paul Yenger

Mr. Paul Bill William Yenger, 74 of Temple died Tuesday, December 28 in a local hospital.
Funeral services will be 12 noon, Monday, January 3, 2011, at Christ Episcopal Church in Temple with the Rev. Mark Wilburn officiating, interment will follow at the Central Texas Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with full military honors and a Masonic service.
Mr. Yenger was born April 10, 1936 in Troy, Ohio to the late Joseph Dale and Virginia Thompson Yenger. He was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church in Temple, Past Master of the Hiram Masonic Lodge 819 in Ludwigsburg, Germany, honorary past Master of The Robert Burns Masonic Lodge in Round Rock and the Past Master of the King Solomon Masonic Lodge 1427 in Temple, he was also Past Patron and Treasurer of the Vashti Chapter of theOrder Eastern Star He retired from the United States Army after serving 20 years, he retired as Chief Warrant OfficerCW2, he also was a welding instructor and department head at Temple College for 10 years. He graduated Troy High School in Troy, Ohio, Troy Hobart Trade School, Temple Junior College and an Honor Graduate of Mary Hardin Baylor University receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree. He and his family resided almost 35 years in Troy, TX before recently moving to Temple.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years: Jayne Horne Yenger of Temple, son: Joseph Dale Yenger, II of Bellville, TX, daughter: Jennifer Denise Yenger Bodnar of Katy, TX also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4 to 6 Sunday, January 2, 2011 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home.
