Paul Yanez

Services for Paul Ray Yanez, 31, of Temple, will be 10 a.m. Friday, March 21, 2014 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Temple with Rev. Tom Chamberlain officiating. Burial will follow in Temple Garden of Memories.

Mr. Yanez died Monday, March 17, at his home.

He was born March 10, 1983 in Temple, Texas and lived here all of his life. He worked for Yanez Construction Company as an equipment operator. He was married to Emiliana Rodriguez and had three children. He enjoyed attending all of his childrens school functions. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and, in his youth, was an altar boy and ran for King of the Valentine benefit. He loved to ride horses and, once a year, would take them to the Church for the benefit fiesta. He also liked to listen and dance to Tejano and Country music.

Mr. Yanez is survived by his wife, Emiliana R. Yanez, and his children, Paul Ray Yanez, Jr., Antonio Yanez, and Angelica Yanez his mother, Matilda Yanez Grandparents, Eppie and Susie Yanez Aunts, Mary Yanez and Dora Gandara, and many cousins.

Visitation will be 67 p.m. Thursday, March 20, at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple. Recitation of rosary will be from 78 p.m. at the funeral home.
