Paul Garza

Paul Garza, age 77 of Troy, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020.  A Celebration of Life Visitation and Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 11 am Saturday, February 29, 2020 in the Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel in Temple.

Paul was born November 19, 1942 to Guadalupe and Maria Garza in Donna, Texas.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Guadalupe Garza, Arthur Garza and Johnny Garza; and sister, Eva Cerecerez.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his son, Raymond Garza of Austin; son, Roy Garza and wife, Cindy of Temple; son, Richard Garza of Temple; daughter, Regina Garza-Garcia and husband, Miguel of Austin; son, Robert Garza of Austin; daughter, Rachael Garza of Round Rock; daughter, Rose Garza-Thomas and husband, Nelson of Pflugerville; son, Paul Garza of Belton; sisters, Mary Ferguson of Troy, Elida Castro and Irma Melo of Belton; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made in Paul’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
