Services for Paul Walter Brown, 71, of Temple, will be held at noon on Monday, January 9, 2016 at the Central Texas Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
Paul Walter Brown passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at a local hospital.
Paul Walter Brown was born on September 3, 1945 to Walter Marion Brown Jr. and Lucille Nora Godin in Temple, Texas. He graduated from Temple High School in 1963. He joined the U.S. Navy where he served on the U.S.S. Darter Submarine from 1963- 1966. He Attended Lamar University where he earned his associates in diesel engineering. Mr. Brown retired from the department of defense. His hobbies were hunting, competition shooting, fishing and working on his hot rods.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his soul mate Karen Kleypas, son Alan Brown (Wizzie); daughter, Karyn Phillips (Jerry); four grandchildren, MacKenzie, MacKayla, MacKeely, Griffin along with his three puppies, itsy, snickers, and little bit.
Family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at the VA Hospice Facility for their compassionate care.
