Patsy Anderson

January 24, 1934 — August 15, 2010

Patsy Jean Anderson, 76 of Troy, passed away Sunday, August 15, 2010 in a local hospital. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple with Mike McMurtry and Gary McMurtry officiating. Private family burial will follow.

Patsy Jean Anderson was born January 24, 1934 to Claud A. and Minnie Martin Williams in the Bottoms Community. She attended Troy High School and graduated in 1951. On November 17, 1951, she was married to James Bill Anderson in Temple. She retired from Southwestern Bell where she worked as a telephone operator for over 20 years. Patsy Jean Anderson was a member of Bottoms Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 2000, and siblings Clifford Williams, Coda Williams, Shorty Williams, and Catherine Cantwell.

Survivors include: sons Barry Anderson, Sr. and wife Donna of Oenaville, Bruce Anderson and wife Becky of Queen City, and Ben Anderson of Round Rock, daughter, Beverly Anderson Koehn and husband Ray of San Antonio, sister, Mary Alice McMurtry of Bottoms, grandchildren April Russell, Steve Anderson, Kelly Anderson, Leah Anderson, and Jordan Anderson, and great grandchildren Autumn Russell, Allyssa Russell, and Aubrey Russell.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Scott White, Division of Research for Respiratory Tract Lung and Bronchial Diseases, 2401 S. 31st St.
Temple, TX 76508.

Visitation will be 6:008:00pm Tuesday at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple.
