Patricia Morgan, 75, of Temple, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 at her home in Temple. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday, August 31 at First Baptist Church in Temple with Pastor Joe Locklin officiating. Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery.
Patricia was born October 25, 1942 to Malcolm and Mattie Sue Jennings Davis in Temple, Texas. She married John Edwin Morgan in 1958. Patricia graduated from Temple High School, Class of 1959, and attended Scott & White School of Nursing. She later received her Bachelors from U.M.H.B. and her Masters from the University of Texas. Patricia was a nurse at Scott & White and Santa Fe Hospitals in Temple before retiring in 2008, when she taught Nursing, CNA and CMA at Temple College. She was a member of Texas Nurses Association and a member of 1st Baptist Church in Temple. Patricia was a Lifetime member of Texas Exes and an avid Texas Longhorn fan. She was most happy when surrounded by family and very proud of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Malcolm Samuel Davis and Mattie Sue Jennings Davis; her husband, John Edwin Morgan; and daughter, Rene Waldburger.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her daughters, Melissa Mitchell and Deborah Morgan; sister, Lois Ann Hall; 6 grandchildren, Christopher Morgan, David Morgan, Paul Graham, John Paul and wife, Shelby Swaim, Amanda Paul and Arlon Mitchell III and 20 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6-8pm, Thursday, August 30 at the funeral home.
Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
