Patricia Deweese

Patricia Ann DeWeese, 80, of Lucas, TX formerly of Temple, TX passed away peacefully Sunday, March 23, 2014 at her home.

Patricia was born in Amarillo, TX on April 18, 1933 to the late Ervin Ward and Mary Beeman. She married Herbert Calvin DeWeese on June 14, 1952 in Clovis, NM.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sister Leona Ward, and her brother Ralph Ward.

She is survived by her seven children: Pamela Kelley of Lucas Priscella Stump of Temple Mary Young of Lucas Lucy Luna of Rockwall Nancy Fisch and her husband Jason of Lucas James Dee DeWeese of Amarillo and Will DeWeese and his wife Tami of Murphy. She was blessed with 16 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren.

Patricia spent many years as a lab technician at Medical Arts Clinic, a volunteer at the VA Hospital, and as a homemaker. She was a member of the Benevolent Order of Does of the Temple Elks Lodge and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Womens Auxiliary.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 27th at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday, March 28th at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple.
