Pamela Herridge

“How many? And what time do y’all want to eat?”

Pam Herridge was the ultimate hostess for her children, family & friends. It was often heard that you were “a guest once, family next time” in her home. This love and hospitality were extended to all she encountered during her time in nursing facilities, education, with her children’s friends, and inside her church and community.

Pam Herridge passed away on March 16, 2022, at her home in Temple, Texas. Services will be private.

Pam was born in San Antonio, Texas and grew up there as well as on Lake LBJ in Burnet County. She was a special education teacher around central Texas including Leander, Lampasas, and Temple ISDs.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Milton Fred and Patsy Jewel Yeary.

She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Herridge of Temple; son, Brad Herridge of Temple; sister, Diane Cano of Bastrop; as well as multiple chosen children.

Her family, both biological and chosen, asked that in lieu of flowers you please consider memorial gifts to Lampasas FUMC children’s after school CAPS program, your local animal shelter, or consider a gift of your time and talents to your local and state Special Olympics program as Pam loved coaching bocce ball!
