Oralia Duarte

Services for Oralia LaLa Duarte, 73, of Troy, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple. Burial will follow in Belfalls Cemetery. Mrs. Duarte died Friday, May 30, at her home in Troy.

She was born September 14, 1940 in Abilene, Texas to Ernesto Herrera and Ermojenes Moncibaiz Herrera. She was a homemaker and lived in the Troy area for 51 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents a daughter, Ruth Duarte three brothers, Johnny Herrera, Antonio Herrera, Ernesto Herrera and one sister, Mary Lou Rodriguez.

Mrs. Duarte is survived by her husband, Raymond Duarte of Troy three sons, Raymond Duarte, Jr. of Belfalls, Joe Duarte of Belfalls, and Paul Duarte and wife Kelly of Temple four daughters, Sylvia Trevino and husband Joe of Rogers, Sue Garza and husband Chris of Temple, Sandra Duarte of Temple, and Sheila Castilleja and husband Rudy of Temple one brother, Santos Herrera of Fort Worth three sisters, Delores Flores of Abilene, and Elena Rodriguez and Josie Franco of Temple nineteen grandchildren, and eight greatgrandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 3 at the funeral home. Recitation of Rosary will be at 7 p.m.
