Ona Maddux

On July 28,, 2011, Ona Mae Maddux, 69, Holland, TX was granted her angel wings.
April 17, 1942 in Killeen, TX she was given by Christ to Robert Lee and Jesse Edwards Taylor.
Ona Mae graduated in 1960 from Bruceville Eddy, TX.
Her journey here on earth was filled with joy and love in preparation for her arrival home with the Lord. Ona Mae enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with family. Her interests included fishing, family, reading and bingo.
Anxiously awaiting her arrival are those who preceded her in death: Her mother and father. Her son: Paul Harlan Jobe Jr., a brother: Garland Taylor and three sisters: Dorothy Pruitt, Betty Taylor and Bobbie Pruitt.
She is survived, by those who lovingly embraced her passing, seven daughters: Tonya Martinez, Crystal Santos, Dorothy Santos, Alice Cortez and Brenda Greenhill all of Holland Paula Mabry of Belton and Elizabeth Daugherty of Temple. One sister: Sadie Smith of Belton, three brothers: Leonard Sonny Taylor of Temple, Ennis Taylor of Belton and Aubrey Taylor of Troy and her blessings of 20 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 AM on August 1, 2011 at Harper Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Ona Mae will then be gently and lovingly laid to rest at Bethany Cemetery in Eddy, Texas. The Family will receive friends from 57 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Services under the direction of HarperTalasek funeral home Temple.
