Ollie Gaines

Ollie Belle Gaines, 87 of Temple, passed away December 12, 2009 in a local hospital. Graveside services will be 10:00am Tuesday at Friendship Cemetery in Friendship, Texas.

Ollie Belle Gaines was born July 23, 1922 to Frank and Willie Belle Lands in Friendship, Texas. On October 17, 1939, she was married to Barney Clyde Gaines. Mrs. Gaines worked as a housewife. She was a member of Heights Baptist Church in Temple where she was active in her Sunday school classes.

She was preceded in death by her husband on March 12, 1984.

Survivors include: daughters; Kim Sodek and husband John Bubba of Temple, JoAnn Satterwhite of Temple, and Betty Schultz and husband Fred of the San Antonio area, 6 grandchildren, her great grandchildren, and her great great grandchildren.
