Noemi Nieto

Services for Noemi Nieto, 66, of Temple will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, February 6, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Burial will follow in procession to Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple.

Ms. Noemi Nieto died on Tuesday, January 31 at a local hospital.

Noemi Nieto was born on January 4, 1951 to Jose Contreras Nieto and Juanita Torres Nieto in Harlingen, Texas. Noemi was a loving mother who enjoyed her family. She was a hard worker and provided for her sons. She shared a special bond with her sisters as they were known as the "Golden Girls". She assured her message of "I love you" was at the end of every call. She will be forever remembered.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include two sons, Adam Nieto and wife Erica and Noe Nieto; two sisters, Elva Navarrete and Eva Perez; and five grandchildren, Isabel Nieto, AJ Nieto, Joseph Nieto, Noe Nieto, Jr., and Nathalia Nieto.

A special thank you to all the family and friends for their support and comfort through this difficult time.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 pm on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
