Nicolas Sanchez

Nicolas Abel Sanchez, passed away May 30, 2023, in Temple, Tx surrounded by his family. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Temple. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Nic was born on September 24, 2008 to Odilia (Perez) Ramirez and Abel Sanchez. He was blessed with a stepdad Johnnie Ramirez. Nicolas was a loving son, brother, and uncle.

Nic lived his 14 years fully with joy, sarcasm, humor, and love. He was never speechless and kept his loved ones laughing and on their toes. He loved gaming and watching videos on his phone with his best friend, Noah. He loved dancing and playing with his nieces and nephews. Nic believed strongly in God and said that many times to his family and friends. He was a strong little boy and never complained about his condition. He accepted it. He always said, "We're never giving up." when times got tough.

Nic was proceeded in death by his maternal grandfather Jose Cruz Perez; his paternal grandparents Mike Ramirez and Cynthia Ramirez; his grandmother Alicia Sanchez.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather Odilia and Johnnie Ramirez; his dad Abel Sanchez of Temple. His sisters Daniella Sanchez, Angelina Sanchez, Kristie Rodriguez and Janie Torres. His brothers John Sanchez, Javier Sustaita and Michael Sustaita. Brother in laws Ramon Rodriguez and Jamie Torres. Sister-in-laws Christina Sustaita and Annabel Aguilar. Grandmother Lucia Perez of Temple. Nephews Noah Adams, Ramon Rodriguez, Carlos Rodriguez, Gabriel Sustaita, and Thomas Sustaita; and nieces, Lillian Adams, Meredith Adams, Alicia Sanchez, Liana Rodriguez, Leilani Rodriguez, and Olivia Sustaita.

A time of visitation will be held from 5-7 pm, with a Holy Rosary recited at 6 pm, Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
