Myrle Joe Wade

Mrs. Joe Wade, 87, of Moody passed away, Sunday at a local hospital. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wade was born July 19, 1922 to James E. and Pearl Joanna Stone Harper in San Marcos. She married Randell W. Wade. She was a housewife who enjoyed painting and collecting butterflies. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Temple.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and son, Randell W. Wade, Jr.

She is survived by son, James Wade of Manhatten, KS; daughter, Linda M. Wade Hafley of Moody; brother, Ray Harper of Huntsville; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
