Monico Grinie, Jr.

Services for Monico Grinie, Jr., 66, of Temple, will be 9 a.m. Friday, December 13, 2013, at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple with Rev. Mario Zavala officiating. Burial will follow in Temple Garden of Memories.

Mr. Grinie died Tuesday, December 10, at his residence.

He was born December 22, 1946 in Slaton, Texas to Monico Grinie, Sr. and Juanita Espinoza Grinie. He lived in Temple since 1969 and was a member of Iglesia Bautista Betel Church in Rosebud for many years. He was a dye repairman by profession. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed playing the guitar.

He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew, Rick Reina.

He is survived by his mother two brothers, Tom Reina of Burlington and Mariano Grinie of Rosebud and four sisters, Elena Reyes of Cameron, and Santos Mendoza, Janie Crabtree, and Rebecca Grinie Rios, all of Temple.

Visitation will be 68 p.m. Thursday, December 12, at the funeral home chapel.
