Monica Olivares-Cerda

Monica Tita Michelle OlivaresCerda, age 39, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 20, 2014. Visitation is 5 to 8pm Monday, December 22, at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple. The Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 23 at 7:00 pm at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple.
Monica was born May 15, 1975, in Temple, Texas, to Alfonso Olivares and Diana Vasquez. She graduated from Temple High school, she worked, for 23 years, in the Bell Countrys Community Supervision Corrections Department. Monica was also a member of the Harvest Church of Temple. Monica had a passion for her children, family, frogs, and always enjoyed music and dancing. She will be missed by numerous friends and family.
Monica leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her loving parents, Alfonso Olivares Jr. and Diana Vasquez her sister, Erica Diana Olivares her children, Sammy Cerda, Amariz Cerda, Serena Cerda her niece, Erica Diana Moody and her 2 nephews, Christian Moody and Seth Henning. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Lily A Martinez her grandfathers, Julian Martinez and Estanislado Vasquez her uncle, Albert Vasquez.
The family would like to express a special gratitude to the Scott White Hospice Care for their generous and outstanding care. As well as a special thanks to all from Harvest Church in Temple, who supported her with an abundance of prayers. As well as all her friends and family.
