Minnie Lucy Billings

Minnie Lucy Billings of Temple, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2008 at Wildflower House Assisted Living where she had been a resident for the past 11 years. She was born June 17, 1928 in Akron, Ohio to LeRoy and Anna Denegar Frederick. She was employed as secretary by a Marine Contractor in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and U.S. Navy Department in Washington, D.C. She married Victor J. Billings, Jr. in 1962. She moved to the Temple area after her retirement in 1988.

She is preceded in death by her husband and her only sister, Lois E. Schmidt. She is survived by nephews, John Schmidt of Florida and Raymond Schmidt of California.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, February 19, 11:00 a.m. at Wildflower House Assisted Living. She will be cremated with scattering at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple.
