Michael Matamoros

Services for Michael Matamoros, 53, of Belton will be 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Temple with Father Tom Chamberlain officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery.

Michael Matamoros passed away Monday, September 28, 2015 at his home in Belton.

Michael was born March 25, 1962 to Antonio Matamoros and Rosalinda Luna Matamoros in Temple, Texas. Michael was a lifelong resident of Temple. He married Donna Gail Smith in 2010. Michael graduated from Temple High School and received a Diesel Mechanic Degree from Texas State Technical Institute. He loved motorcycles, guitar playing, and he had the best sense of humor.

Preceded in death are his mother, Rosalinda Matamoros; and daughter, Rachel Matamoros.

Survivors include his wife; Donna Gail Smith Matamoros; son, Johnathon Spiller; daughters, Brittney Spiller; Miranda Windham; father, Antonio Matamoros; brother, Paul Ray Matamoros and wife Tina; sisters; Margaret Ann Matamoros and Gloria J. Cruz and husband Jaime.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 30th from 6 - 8 pm with Rosary recited at 7 pm at the funeral home.
