alignjustify Mr. Green died Wednesday, February 18th, at Central Texas Hospital in Cameron.
alignjustifyHe was born July 21, 1917 in the Meeks community to William Willie Green and Mathilda Helble Green. He married Lora Ann Schmidt on November 14, 1937
alignjustifyMr. Green was a successful lifelong farmer in the Red Ranger and Meeks communities until he retired and moved to Temple. The last years of his life he spent with his son Wayne and wife, Mildred in Thorndale. The last year of life, he was in the Manor Oaks Nursing Home in Rockdale.
alignjustifyHe was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; an infant son; six brothers, Elo, Gilbert, Willis, Garlin, Virgil, Henry and one sister, Gladis and a granddaughter, Stephanie Green.
alignjustifySurvivors are one brother, Mike Green and wife, Sue of Temple; two sons, Edward Green of Houston and Wayne Green and wife, Mildred of Thorndale; six grandchildren, Kathleen Green of Friendswood, Jennifer Green of Houston, Everette Green and wife, Jenny of Hearne, Wanda Amyx and husband, Rodney of Rowlett, Michelle Smith and husband, Skip of Round Rock, Stacy Wares of Round Rock; seven great grandchildren, Drew Amyx, Ashley Amyx, Madison Smith, Minley Smith, Danielle Wares, Robert Wares and Eli Green.
alignjustifyIn lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Salem Lutheran Church, 418 FM 1772, Rosebud, TX 76570.
