Melissa Vasquez

Services for Melissa Vasquez, 49, of Little RiverAcademy will be 10 am Thursday, October 24 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Temple with the Rev. Tom Chamberlain officiating.

Ms. Vasquez died Tuesday, October 22 at a local hospital.

She was born June 8, 1964, in Belton to Constancio Vasquez and Lydia Ortiz Alaniz. She graduated from Temple High School in 1982 and attended Temple Junior College and the Temple Police Academy. She was a member of the Bell County Womens Democratic Association and, for the past 49 years, a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Ms. Vasquez is survived by her parents two sons, Gilbert Vasquez Alcozer, Jr. and Mark Gabriel Alcozer, both of Belton two daughters, Rita Alcozer and Rosemary Alcozer, both of Belton a brother, Constancio M. Vasquez, Jr. of Little RiverAcademy a sister, Nora Vasquez ONeill of Little RiverAcademy and two grandchildren.
