McArthur Sheehan is survived by his wife of 49 years, Celestina Sheehan. She is the love of his life and has had many blessed years together since the day they met. He loved and cared for his stepchildren as if they were of his blood. Beatrice Ramos Aranda is the oldest, followed by Janie Grijalva of Dallas Texas, John Ramos (deceased), Gonzala Ramos who was maid of honor at their wedding in 1975, Antonio Ramos from Temple Texas, Julian Ramos of Dallas Texas, Angelita Ramos Aranda from New Mexico, followed by David Ramos (deceased), Mary Ramos also from Texas, Rosie Ramos (deceased), and Alfonso Ramos from Temple, Texas.
He will be remembered in the hearts of his grandchildren and great grandchildren, each of whom have their own special memories of McArthur.
Douglas loved the Lord and his wife Sally; however, he loved his beloved baby girl Samantha so much that anyone who came to visit knew she was the baby. She was more than a Chihuahua, she was daddy's princess.
In summary, McArthur loved his country and wore his uniform with pride. He took pride in flying the American flag high in front of his home and would not leave the house without his cap stating he was a Vietnam veteran. McArthur is a man of integrity and honor. A man who lived up to the promises he made to God, country and family.
