Mr. Suiter died Saturday, July 9, 2016, at a local hospital.

Maurice E. Suiter Jr., was born July 29, 1956, to Maurice Suiter and Louise Tuttle Suiter in Omaha, Nebraska. He grew up in Portland, Oregon where he loved to fish for salmon. He moved to Temple and was a self-employed motorcycle mechanic. He was a member of the East Highway Baptist Church.

Maurice was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Hellen Motle.

Survivors include his brother, Edwin E. Suiter, three sisters, Ellen, Dana, and Martie.
