Services for Mattie Alice Swett, 86, of Temple will be 1:00 PM Friday, March 12 at Reeds Lake Cemetery with Reverend Brent Boatwright officiating.
Mrs. Swett died Sunday, March 7 in Temple.
She was born August 20, 1923 to Elige and Virgie Lee Bleeker in Rogers, Texas. She was a housewife and a life member of DAVA2 and American VFW.
Mrs. Swett is survived by her husband, Loren E. Swett of Temple three sons, H.L. Johnny Mayes of Belton Curtis Wayne Mayes and wife Bonnie of Little River and Weldon O. Dee Easley and wife Lorraine of Gig Harbor, Washington. Numerous grandchildren, several greatgrandchildren and several greatgreatgrandchildren as well as a host of friends survivor her.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 11 from 6:008:00 PM at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple.
