Mary Willcox

Mrs. Mary Louise Willcox, 86 of Temple passed away December 14, 2012 at a local hospital. Mary was born in Cisco , Texas on December 10, 1926 to the late Jake Courtney and Minnie Olive Courtney. Mary is preceded in death by her husband J.H. Willcox J.r., sisters, Millie Penn, Laura Courtney and Lucy Roberts, and a stepson John Wilcox III. Mrs. Willcox was an active member of the first Baptist Church of Troy, Marys career was with the local bank in Troy and then she also worked for Merle Norman Cosmetics and Gifts. She is survived by her brother Joe Courtney Sr. of Ft. Worth and her sister Opal J Walker of Troy, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and loving friends.

Visitation will be held Monday December 17, 2012 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple from 68 p.m.

Graveside Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday December 18, 2012 at the Salado Cemetery, with Rev. Harlin R. Haines officiating.
