Mary Ochoa

Services for Mary Helen Ramirez Ochoa, 66, of Temple, will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2014, at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple with Pastor Rudy Ochoa officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Mrs. Ochoa died Friday, October 31, at a local hospital.

Mary was born February 13, 1948 in Temple, Texas to Reymundo and Paulina Rodriguez Ramirez. She lived in Temple all of her life and attended Temple College. She educated many generations of children as a teacher with the Belton Independent School District and taught English to nonEnglish speaking adults. Mary also worked at Rudys Repair and Remodel. She was a member of Temple Word of Faith Church. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and shopping, but most important to her was her faith and her family.

Mrs. Ochoa is survived by her husband, Joe Ochoa sons Joe Santos Ochoa, Mike Ochoa and wife Melisa, Rudy Ochoa and wife Shelly, and Christopher Nicholas Guy Ochoa brothers Mike Ramirez and Jessie Ramirez, both of Temple seven grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.

HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
