Mary Matamoros

Services for Mary Matamoros, 78, of Belton, will be 10 a.m., Monday, April 21, 2014, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Temple with the Rev. Tom Chamberlain officiating. Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery.

Mrs. Matamoros died Monday, April 14, at a local hospital.

She was born February 11, 1936 in Belton, Texas to Fred Vriseno and Antonia Arreguin Vriseno. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Mrs. Matamoros is survived by her husband, Isabel Matamoros of Belton a son, Joe Louis Matamoros of Round Rock three daughters, Sylvia Garza of Belton, Olivia Taylor of Arkansas, and Lydia Aleman of Belton three brothers, Raymond Vriseno, Sr. of Belton, Fred Vriseno, Jr. of Belton, and Tony Vriseno, Sr. of Temple three sisters, Mildred Vasquez of Belton, Rosa Vasquez of Temple, and Linda Fuentes of Temple 14 grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 7 p.m. Sunday, April 20 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home. Recitation of Rosary will be from 7 8 p.m.
