Mary Knight

No services are planned for Mary Elizabeth Knight, 69, of Temple. Ms. Knight passed away Saturday, April 8, at her home in Temple.

Mary Elizabeth Knight was born August 16, 1947 in Nixon, Texas to Charlie Clint Tumlinson and Ruth Mae Meneley Tumlinson. Mary was the eldest child and helped raised her siblings after the death of their father. She was a quiet, sweet soul who enjoyed reading and sewing. Mary was a member of Heights Baptist Church and Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Ms. Knight was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, John Clinton Colston and Jody Dale Knight; and a brother, John Peter Tumlinson.

She is survived by a brother, Charles Tumlinson; a sister, Ruth Anne Kelsey; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Knight; and a grand-daughter, Mila Knight.
