Mary Gonzalez

Mrs. Mary Helen Gonzalez, 54, of Temple, died Sunday, December 14, 2008 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, December 18, 2008 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Rev. Helen Maxwell officiating. Burial will be in North Belton Cemetery in Belton.

Mrs. Gonzalez was born to Joe Flores, Jr. and Margaret Perez Flores in Temple on March 2, 1954. She was a lifelong resident of Temple. She was a member of El Divino Salvador Methodist Church in Temple.

Survivors include her father, Joe Flores, Jr. of Temple; one son, Samuel Martinez of Temple; two daughters, Jessie Holland and Bernadette Reed, both of Temple; two brothers, Jerry Flores and Jimmy Flores, both of Temple; two sisters, Martha Garcia of Holland and Josephine Maria Castillo of Temple; and five grand-children. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Joe Reyna, Jr. and Israel Martinez, Sr..

Visitation will be from 7-9 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
