Mary Gabbert

Mary Loretta Gabbert, 93, of Terrell, and formerly of Bell County, died Saturday, June 28, 2008 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Pastor Ken Griffis officiating. Burial will be in Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple.

Mrs. Gabbert was born to Huey Frazier Hester and Joanna Lindsey Hester in Sulligent, Alabama on August 24, 1914. She had been a resident of Bell County most of her life. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a waitress in Mesquite. She attended Wesleyan Bible Church in Dallas.

Survivors include three sons, James Eddy Gabbert of Beeville, Louie Duane Gabbert of Cedar Vale, Kansas and Clifford Dean Gabbert of Beeville; four daughters, Joye Loretta Burns of Guntersville, Alabama, Norma Foy Sisemore of Axtell, Barbara Sue Lento of Terrell and Doris Jean Toberny of Ben Wheeler; twenty-three grandchildren; fifty-seven great grandchildren; and fifteen great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse James Gabbert in 1983 and two sons, Doyle Ray Gabbert and Revis Joel Gabbert.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
