Mary Catrett

Services for Mary Lou Catrett, 91, of Temple, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, November 27, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Pastor Rick Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Bellwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Catrett passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 21 at a local hospital after a short illness. She is now with her Holy Father in Heaven.

Mary was born June 28, 1926 in Pulaski, Georgia to Joseph Frost and Lou Vina Lee Frost. She was beloved by everyone who knew her. She enjoyed visiting with her friends at the Temple What-a-Burger, where she ate almost every day for ten years.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Arthur Lee Catrett; two sons, Jimmy Thierry of Houston, Texas and Paul Thierry of Seattle, Washington; a daughter, Ann Ladehoff of Houston; four grandsons and one granddaughter.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Baylor Scott & White Hospital for the care and kindness during this time.

Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 27, at the funeral home.

Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
