Mary Boyer

Services for Mary Ann Boyer, 98, of Irving and formerly of Temple, will be 11:00 am Saturday, November 2 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Temple.  Burial will follow in Bellwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Boyer passed away October 29, 2019 in Irving, Texas.

Mary Ann Boyer was born August 9, 1921 in Barclay, Texas to John Voltin and Annie Winkamp Voltin.  She married Walter J. Boyer on January 31, 1946 in Westphalia, Texas and moved to Temple in 1959.  Mrs. Boyer was the Manager of the Scott & White Credit Union for 17 years, retiring in 1977.  She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Mary’s Altar Society, and started a Parkinson’s Support Group.

Mrs. Boyer was preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Boyer, and a son, Wally J. Boyer.

She is survived by a son, Don Boyer of Dallas.

Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, November 1, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.  Recitation of Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m.
