Services for Marvin Lee Ondrasek, 85, of Cyclone, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2014, at Seaton Brethren Church in Seaton with Pastor Denise Mikeska officiating. Burial will follow at Seaton Cemetery.
Mr. Ondrasek was born August 6, 1928, in Red Ranger to Charles Ondrasek and Amalie Simek Ondrasek. He graduated from Rogers High School in 1946 and married Dorothy Lee Vavra August 19, 1950 in Temple. He owned the Oscar Store from 1955 1959 operated the Cyclone Store from 1968 1973 and retired from the Rogers School District after 20 years of service. He was a member of Seaton Brethren church and will be remembered for his love of the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, John Ondrasek, Clarence Ondrasek, and Arnold Ondrasek.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy two sons, David Ondrasek of Houston, Michael Ondrasek and wife, Melinda, of Liberty Hill Lisa Hickey Ondrasek of Magnolia, Texas and four grandchildren, Chad Ondrasek, Dustin Ondrasek, Cole Ondrasek and Carly Ondrasek.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation to Seaton Brethren Church.
Visitation will be 68 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2014, at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple.
