Services for Martina Davila, 86, of Temple will be 11:00 am Tuesday July 21, 2015 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery.

Martina Davila passed away Friday, July 17, at a local hospital.

Martina was born October 23, 1928 to Hijinio Hernandez and Francisca Salas Hernandez in Elgin, Texas. She married Juan Davila and they were blessed with five children. Martina was a devoted, loving mother and homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, praying, and attending church at Mount Calvary Church. She was faithful serving God until the end.

Preceded in death are her parents; husband; brother, Eugenio S. Hernandez; and sister, Aurora Hernandez.

Survivors include her children; Juanita Davila, Francisco Davila, Sr. and wife Rosa, Arthur Davila, Sr. and wife Enedina, David Davila, Sr. and wife Melinda, Daniel Davila and wife Sherry Young Davila; brothers, Florentino Hernandez, Hijinio Hernandez, Jr. and wife Celia, Juaquin Hernandez, Sr. and wife Alice, Guadalupe Hernandez and wife, Mary Ester, Ricardo Hernandez and wife Irene, Jesus R. Hernandez, Sr. and wife Linda, John Hernandez, Sr., and sister, Virginia Ortega and husband Louis; grandchildren, Delia Trevino, Phillip Aguillon, Francisco Davila, Jr., Ben Davila, Juan Davila, Arthur Davila, Jr., Amanda Rose, David Davila, Jr., Devan Davila, and Elizabeth Rodriguez; eighteen great grand-children, one great-great grandchild, thirteen nieces; and thirteen nephews.

Visitation will be 6 - 8 pm Monday July 20th at the funeral home.
