Mass of Christian Burial for Martha Marie Dach, 78, of Temple will be held 10 AM Thursday, October 25, 2018 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1018 S 7th St. in Temple. Martha received her angel wings on Sunday, October 21, 2018 while surrounded by her beloved family. She was born at home, outside of West, on April 22, 1940 to Toby and Flora Berkenhoff Kracmer.

Mrs. Dach lived the majority of her life in the Temple area. She was a strong and faithful Catholic woman who believed firmly in the power of prayer. Martha was a long-time member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Mrs. Dach was very involved in church activities. She taught Religious Education Classes for 15 plus years and was always present at bingo when able.
She was a wonderful gardener and she loved to watch all of her flowers grow, especially her roses and anything purple or lavender colored. She enjoyed watching college football on Saturdays, as well as many other sports. Martha always had the television tuned to Wheel of Fortune or The Price is Right when they came on. She was incredibly talented at anything that involved a needle and thread. She was always making gifts of love for her family and friends in the form of embroidery, needlepoint, and quilting. Martha quilted baby blankets for every one of her grandchildren. She had a special place in her heart for her pets, especially her beloved chihuahua, Sweet Pea.

Above all else, Martha's greatest treasure in life was her family. She was the ultimate homemaker. Being a wife, mother, and grandmother were the three things she did best. She was always involved in her children's activities when they were younger and then even more so with her grandchildren. Her grandchildren will always hold a special place in her heart. She was at her happiest when baking treats with them or making crafts, like Christmas ornaments. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Annie Marie Dach; a brother, Jimmy Kracmer; and a sister, Henrietta Meurer.

Those left to honor and cherish Martha's memory are her beloved husband of 56 years, Fred G. Dach; sons, Toby Dach, Bernard Dach and wife, Kim, Brian Dach and wife, Stephanie; daughters, Yvonne Engelke and husband, Ronald, Frieda Mayer and husband, Trey, Stefaine Waugh and husband, Dennis; brother, Frankie Kracmer; sister, Agnes Ondrey; grandchildren, Ryan and wife Madison, Kaitlyn, Meghan, Emily, Thachary, Abigail, Whyatt, Isabella; step-grandchildren, Brandon, Zakary, Kolten; step-great-grandchildren, Bentlee, Camdyn, Tatum.
