Marlyce Dixon, 71, of Temple passed from this life on July 20.
Services will be held at Bellwood Cemetery on Tuesday
Marlyce was born on October 28, 1950, in Ft. Worth, Texas to Herman Marley Taylor and Nellie Juanita Austin.
Marlyce was a faithful and devoted Christian. She was a Sunday School Teacher for many years. She had a volunteering spirit. She worked with the Salvation Army and was always willing to lend a hand where needed. She was a loving caregiver. She had a soft spot for all animals and could always find room for one more. She could create, fix, or build anything. She was very modest about her talents. She was an excellent cook, amazing painter, fierce hairdresser and had a natural green thumb.
Marlyce was preceded in death by her beloved husband Floyd Dean Dixon and her parents.
Those left to honor and cherish her memories are her Son Randy Dixon of Waco; Christopher Dixon of Dickinson; Keith Dixon of Temple; daughters Audrey and Ingrid Robertson of Tracy, CA; daughter Kelli McDonald of Temple; 16 grandkids; 33 great grandkids.
