Mark David Taylor, 43 of Hewitt, Texas went to be with his savior Friday morning January 22, 2010 in Temple, Texas. Funeral service will be 11:00am Tuesday at Columbus Avenue Baptist Church in Waco with Rev. Brian Dunks officiating. Burial will be 3:00pm Tuesday at Mary Allen Oliver Cemetery near Three Forks East of Belton.
He was born in Temple, Texas to Bill and Marie Taylor in October 22, 1966. His family provided and international education due to his fathers Air Force career. Mark graduated from Belton High School in 1985, and then the University of Mary Hardin Baylor in 1994. In 1993, he met the love of his life, Carol Beth Northen. They were married on February 21, 1998 in Belton, Texas, and were blessed with two children. After exploring various occupational options, he found his career niche at Professional Data Solutions, Inc. in 1997, and worked there until his death.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lillian and G.H. Taylor of Belton, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Carol Beth Northen Taylor, his son, Llando Elliston Taylor, his daughter, Ellie Reese Taylor, his parents, Bill and Marie Taylor of Great Britain, his brother, Daren Taylor of Temple, TX, his sister, Paula Taylor of Lorain, Ohio, and eleven nieces and nephews.
He was a member of Columbus Avenue Baptist Church, Waco, and attended the Young Adult 2 Sunday School. He was a proud member of the Libertarian Party, and the NRA. He was a nationally recognized, awardwinning amateur photographer. He enjoyed playing Wii with his son, and competed in horse shows in leadline classes with his son as well. He was an avid reader and especially enjoyed science fiction fantasy. He liked to cook for others and entertain. He was a well respected and much loved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be remembered by his friends and family especially for his sharp wit, clever humor, optimistic outlook, and thoughtful care of others.
