Mark Castilleja

Services for Mark Anthony Castilleja, 37, of Temple, will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 12 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Cremation will follow. The family welcomes everyone for a meal and fellowship at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church Family Center following the service. Honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Castilleja, Daniel Castilleja, Ray Castilleja, Rey Sanchez, Joe Garza, Simon Tamez, Rick Velasquez, Robert McDaniel, Alan Lopez, Mike Trevino, Brandon Delao and Josh Coker.

Mark A. Castilleja died on Friday, January 6, 2017 in Troy.

Mark Anthony Castilleja was born on May, 7 1979 to Amadeo Castilleja Jr. and Mary Stella Bravo in Cameron, Texas. He graduated from Rosebud-Lott High School and attended T.S.T.C. in Waco. He worked for Baylor Scott & White Hospital. He was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting and barbequing with his family and friends.

Survivors include his parents; his wife of 8 years, Cassi; a daughter, Jamie Castilleja; a son, Issac Sandoval; two brothers, Daniel Castilleja and Aaron Castilleja; and his in-laws, Homer and Elvira Sanchez.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the funeral home.
