Marie Vasicek

Marie Vasicek, 86 of Temple died Thursday, July 26, 2012 in a local nursing facility.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2012 at Saint Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Ranjan Cletus officiating. Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple.
Mrs. Vasicek was born in Granger, Texas to the late John J. and Mary Ejem Mihatsch on May 8, 1926 and had lived in Temple most of her life. She was a longtime member of the Saint Mary Catholic Church in Temple where she served on the Altar Society, she was also a member of the Temple KJZT Society and SPJST Lodge 47 in Seaton.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert W. Vasicek, Sr. December 1996 and daughter Georgia Vasicek Sehon.
Survivors include: daughter, Doris Holtman of Waco, sons: Edwin Vasicek and Robert W. Vasicek, Jr. of Temple and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 29 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple with a rosary to follow at 7 p.m.
