Marie Ferrell, 60, of Nolanville died Monday at a local hospital in Temple. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. brMrs. Ferrell was born November 4, 1949 to Harold Eugene and Betty Jo Lively Johnson in Seymore, Missouri. She married Clarence Ray Ferrell December 22, 1969 in Cherokee, Texas.brShe was a leader and trainer of Girl Scouts of Central Texas, a former board member of Nolanville Volunteer Fire Department and former member of Nolanville Parks Committee.brMarie was a homemaker who loved going to Port Aransas, enjoying her grandchildren and Christmas. brShe is preceded in death by her parents.brMarie is survived by her husband of Nolanville; children, Anthony Kuite of Harker Heights, Mike Ferrell of Killeen, Tracie MacIntyre and husband, Alan of Katy and Chris Ferrell of Noalnville; brothers, Frank Johnson of Kempner, David Johnson of Norborne, MO, Wendell Johnson of Greenwood, IN and Tim Johnson of Seymore, MO; sisters, Brenda Hunter of Raeford, NC, Liz Jones of Redlands, CA and Kathy Lloyd of San Bernadino, CA; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.brServices will be 2:00 p.m., Friday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.brIn lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.br
