Maria Rosa

Funeral Mass for Maria De La Rosa, 65, of Temple will be 10 am Tuesday, June 25, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Tom Chamberlain officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mrs. De La Rosa died Friday in a Temple hospital.
Maria was born to Juan and Guadalupe Lara Rosales on March 4, 1948 in Muzquiz Coah, Mexico. In 1981 she married Isidoro T. De La Rosa in Temple. Maria worked as a seamstress at Johnnies Cleaners for many years. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Temple for over 35 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Sylvia C. Lopez of Heidenheimer, Rosemary C. Woodbury of Temple one son, Antonio De La Rosa of Temple three sisters, Rosario Cabral of Temple, Angles Ballesteros of Eagle Pass, Blanca Talamanates of Temple two brothers, Juan Rosales Lara, Jr. of Eagle Pass, Rolando Rosales Lara of Piedras Negras, Mexico eight grandchildren ten greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband three sisters two brothers.
Visitation will be held 6 to 8 pm Monday, June 24, 2013 with a Rosary at 7 pm at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple.
